Safety & Warranty

  • Fire Safety: This range is made from fire-resistant PVC canvas certified to UK fire standard BS 7837-1996 making it ideal for use in public spaces.
  • Instructions: Read the instructions carefully and familiarise yourself with the procedure before assembling the structure.
  • Weather: Ensure the marquee is assembled correctly and, in the event of light snowfall, remove snow from the roof immediately. In case of wind, you are advised to use a tie down kit. In case of strong winds and heavy snowfall we recommend temporary disassembly.
  • Anchoring: Always use the guy ropes and pegs provided to secure the marquee when using. It is also recommended to use additional marquee anchoring kits such as weights and ratchet straps for additional support (can be provided).
  • Checks: On receiving your structure, please carefully check you have all component parts. Please do not wait until the day you intend to use the structure to then find you have missing or damaged parts. This will allow us time to provide you with any replacement components prior to you using the structure.
  • Usage: Marquees are intended for events and other arrangements and are as such only meant for short term temporary assembly and disassembly.
  • Warranty: Wimba warranty applies only to the normal use of the product, normal wear and tear excepted, in accordance with written use instructions or manual. The warranty does not apply to damage caused by accident, abuse, weather conditions, misuse, modification or incorrect dismantle, erection, packing and storage of the product.
  • Galvanised Steel: The galvanised steel used has been treated with an oily layer to give greater protection from corrosion. This may create marks on the fabric where the metal is in contact with the fabric. You can however wipe off this oily layer however, we do not recommend as it will increase the risk of corrosion.
  • Condensation: Our PE & PVC marquees are weatherproof; however, condensation may form on the inside of the roof in cold conditions.

I cant recommend this company highly enough. I wanted to buy a large marquee and have it shipped to Northern Ireland as the local prices were almost double what Wimba were charging. At every stage the team came back to my requests in record time and were super helpful, always trying to come up with a solution that worked for me. We used Wimba Marquee for our son’s 5th birthday, and it was a fantastic experience! Adam and Daniel looked after us like family, ensuring everything went smoothly. Even with the storm, the marquee stood strong and was so warm and cozy that all our guests were amazed. They were even on standby to make sure it went all well. Despite the rain, the party went on without a hitch, and the guests absolutely loved it. When we had a slight issue with the heating on a Saturday midday, they came around within minutes to fix it, which was incredibly helpful. This is where the customer experience really stood out. The marquee was so convenient, especially since we couldn’t book our local church. They provided chairs and tables, making it a great alternative. Everything was set up perfectly, and the party was a huge hit. We would highly recommend Wimba Marquee for all occasions!

All in all a brilliant service from Wimbaway from start to finish. We love our Marquee. It is sturdy, good quality and perfect for what we were looking for. The tent went together easily and wasn't too difficult to fold away afterwards. The carry cases were also good, although I wonder how long the handles will last?! Delivery was very quick and pricing was reasonable. We look forward for many years of use from this marquee, but are pleased to hear that replacement parts are available to order separately if required in the future. I'd definitely recommend this product and company!
